ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Friday, June 10th, 2023 – 12:00 midnight Indochina Time (ICT)
Confirmation of acceptance: June 23rd, 2023.
The annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors 2023 seeks to provide a forum for sharing innovations and advances in medical scientific publishing in Asia Pacific Region, with a focus on promoting medical journalism and transforming and reshaping the scientific publishing landscape in the Asia Pacific Region in general and in Vietnam in particular. The conference aims to stimulate discussions among medical scientists and editors, inspire reformation, and foster a community of medical scientific publishing invested in advancing medical research and research quality improvement.
The Conference theme is "Publication in the Era of Artificial Intelligence". It will be organized into different sub-themes, each having its own dedicated sub-section in the conference.
The conference is currently soliciting abstracts around, but not limited to, the following thematic areas:
- Publication and academic career in the 21st century;
- Editorial, peer review, and open access: application for Asia Pacific Region;
- Ethical issues and misconduct in the era of artificial intelligence;
- Open access publishing;
- Data sharing and reproducibility;
- Emerging trends in scholarly communication.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Conference Proceedings will be published by Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All abstracts will be competitively peer-reviewed. The abstracts should be no more than 300 words, written in English, and be structured as follows:
1. Title;
2. Authors with affiliations;
3. Contact information (name, telephone, and email address) of presenting author;
4. Abstract Body, including the following:
- Background;
- Methods;
- Results;
- Potential Impact or Lessons Learned.
Format
- Abstracts must be in 12-font Times New Roman, single-spaced.
- Abstracts should not include any figures or tables.
- All required information should be in a single Microsoft Word file and uploaded at the following site: https://apame2023.huemed-univ.edu.vn/
Researchers should nominate whether they prefer oral or poster presentations.
Decisions regarding oral presentations will be made by the Scientific Review Committee.
